Window Well Covers

All basement window wells pose problems ranging from a mere nuisance to a big time safety risk. The possibility of a fall-in or break-in need never enter your mind with window well covers from Aztec Manufacturing, Inc. (You can also skip the snake and rodent evictions, semi-annual tumbleweed cleanouts, and the bunny rescues!)

We custom-build all of our window well covers, so you can get them in any size, shape or style to meet your specific needs. For basement bedrooms, we have egress options that make opening the cover easy, even for small children. Ladders can be made in any size too!

At Aztec Manufacturing, Inc., all our window well covers are fabricated with a heavy-duty frame that is made to fit your wells and finished with whatever options are best for your home. We offer expanded metal or super heavy-duty polycarbonate, if precipitation is an issue. 

We can even dress them up and make them ornamental as well as secure.

Fire Safety

We highly recommend practicing fire drills with your family on a regular basis. It is important for all children and adults in the home to know how to operate the window well covers and be confident in their ability to do so.

Make sure any basement bedroom occupant, young or old, is physically able to get out of the window. If your current well covers are too heavy for them to lift, consider adding a gas lifter. They work just like the lifters on the trunk of a car, and they make opening the cover fast and easy.
