Bring your torn window screens and patio door screens to Aztec Manufacturing, Inc for speedy screen repair services. Got a screen that seems to be beyond repair? No problem! We also make brand new screens. We are Pueblo, Colorado’s oldest screen repair shop. Our friendly technicians will be happy to help you.

Please note that our screen repair services are an in-house service only. We do not make service calls to pick up screens or to measure for new screens. You will need to bring your frames and/or measurements to us. You can drop them off anytime during business hours. The lead time on repairs is usually 1-2 business days.

If you are missing a screen, see if any other screen in your house fits that window correctly, if so, you can either get measurements from that screen, or you can simply bring that screen to us to use as a sample.

The Function of a Screen

The screens we are talking about here are window screens that are meant to keep insects and small critters out of your house.

Screening Materials

Fiberglass

The least expensive and most common window screening option.

Advantages: Easy to see out of. Can last a very long time under normal conditions.

Disadvantages: It is easy for pets to tear up if they have access. In basement windows rodents and insects may chew holes through it.

Aluminum

Available in mill (bright silver) charcoal or black.

Advantages: Easy to see out of. Can last a very long time under normal conditions. Resists insects and rodents very well. A great choice for basement screens!

Disadvantages: It is easy for pets to tear up if they have access. It will show dents.

Aztec Screen

Available in black.

Advantages: Extra tough and resists tearing better than fiberglass or aluminum.

Disadvantages: The view through will not be as clear as fiberglass or aluminum. Not as tough as pet screen.

Pet Screen

Available in gray or black.

Advantages: The toughest screen you can roll into a frame. The best choice for dogs, cats or grandkids. The dense weave provides 50% shade factor.

Disadvantages: The view through will not be as clear as fiberglass or aluminum.
